Addie Brown joined Pentecost, Glenn & Tilly, PLLC in July 2022. Addie practiced tort and insurance defense litigation for five years before joining a national insurance company as a claims attorney. Now, Addie’s practice areas include Civil Rights Defense and Constitutional Law, General Civil Litigation, Insurance Coverage and Defense, Labor and Employment, and Medical Malpractice.
Addie is licensed in the State of Tennessee, the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Tennessee, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Jackson Madison County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association. Addie co-wrote publication What I Meant to Say…, for the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association in The Journal Spring/Summer 2017 Issue 2 Vol. I.
Addie, a native of Selmer, TN, Graduated magna cum laude from University of Tennessee at Martin in 2013. She then attended Belmont University College of Law and graduated cum laude in 2016. While in law school, Addie served as the Executive Symposium Editor of the Belmont Law Review and won best performance awards in Civil Procedure, Intellectual Property, Health Care Business and Finance, and Health Law.
Outside of practicing law, Addie is a mother of three to twins Lincoln and Jack, and Anne Marie. She is also a worship leader at First Baptist Church in Selmer, where her family attends. In her very limited spare time, she enjoys reading and meeting with her book club, Tequila Mockingbird.
